Both MidSun Book Clubs had their
first meeting yesterday. The Grade 7 Book Club will be reading Kenneth
Oppel’s “The Dark Endeavour: The Apprenticeship of Victor
Frankenstein,” and the Grade 8/9 student’s will be reading “Divergent,” the
first book in a trilogy by Virginia Roth.
The students who attended had
great ideas about which books they’d like to read in the future. The next
meeting will be held at lunchtime on Wednesday, November 7th in the
Guidance Office.
There is still room for other
students to join the two book clubs. See Mrs. Bergh in the Library
for a more information and a parent permission form.
