Good Luck Ms. Fee!

Ms. Fee, our grade 7 science and math teacher is leaving us Friday March 23, 2012 to go on maternity leave.  We are excited for her and her family and hope she will come visit us once the new little Fee is born.  We wish her the very best in the weeks ahead.

After spring break, Ms. Chambers will replace Ms. Fee.  Ms. Chambers has recently worked at MidSun and Mountain Park schools teaching math and science on temporary contracts. Please welcome her to our red pod!

Good Luck Ms. Price!

Ms. Price is retiring and her last day will be March 23, 2012.  Ms. Price has worked tirelessly for MidSun Students over the past four years. She has been our guidance counsellor, a science teacher and a living skills teacher. She was also a learning leader and developed important strategies for teachers to support our coded students.   She has helped our staff develop professional learning communities and has arranged many important guest speakers and field trips such as our party program and grade nine tours to Centennial.  She will be missed by the MidSun family and we know she will have many new adventures in retirement.  Good Luck Ms. Price!

Pictured with Ms. Price is Don Gordon, an experienced high school guidance counsellor, who will be taking over for Ms. Price after spring break.  He met with Ms. Price today to go over everything to make a smooth transition for our students.  Please welcome him to MidSun.
