MSEES and MidSun School Council would like to thank all the MidSun staff members and MidSun families who have already participated in and those who plan to continue to participate in the Grocery Gift Card (GGC) fundraising program. In the past twelve months your support has raised $7,750.00. If you have not had a chance to order Grocery Gift Cards, and you would like to do so, the next order deadline for cash and cheque orders is Thursday, February 7th. If you prefer to purchase Grocery Gift Cards and pay by Credit Card, credit card orders will be able to be taken and processed in the school office, between 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm, on Wednesday, February 6th. (If you were hoping to order Grocery Gift Cards and pay by Credit Card, and you are not able to make it into the school this Wednesday, please contact Michelle D. at mich.denhoed@shaw.ca. MidSun Parent Council would like to extend an open invitation to all MidSun parents / guardians to join us for Coffee & Conversation with the Principal, on Tuesday, February 12th, 2013, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, in the Library Commons -- coffee (regular and decaf), tea and a light snack will be provided. Some of the potential topics for questions and conversation include: Tell Them From Me student survey results (all grades), the school’s position on mobile devises at school, a discussion around School Council possibly arranging for an evening information session for parents / guardians with our area Counselor with Calgary Sexual Health Services – What would parents / guardians like to know?, and more … We hope to see you there!
MSEES (MidSun School Education Enhancement Society) will hold its monthly fundraising budget meeting immediately following Coffee & Conversation with the Principal, on Tuesday, February 12th, from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm, in the Library Commons. All newcomers welcome!
