Midsun earns spot in Guinness Book of World Record

Students from Midsun school participated in a massive pumpkin carving project hosted by Save-On-Foods here in Calgary.

It was a world record breaking attempt for the longest line of carved pumpkins.  Each pumpkin had be carved in a traditional manner with 2 eyes, a nose and a mouth.

The final count had over 297 metres of pumpkins and over 1300 pumpkins.  The previous record was 1000.
WE DID IT!!!

Look for the achievement in the 2015 copy of the Guinness Book or World Records.
