Students
gave a solid thumbs up to the novel Gone by Michael Grant. A story about
a town where everyone over the age of 15 vanishes and some kids are developing
supernatural powers. This is the first book in the popular series.
This
month we are reading Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin, an author whose work
we all loved from last year’s reading. If you have a student who has read and
enjoyed Hunger Games and Divergent, they would enjoy Zevin’s All These Things
I’ve Done. Book Club meets again on Wed. February 26 and we are always
happy to welcome new members.
